Your whole year, sorted onto Form T2125.

Covers GST/HST in every province and territory except Quebec (QST and Revenu Québec's TP-80 aren't included yet). A record-keeping tool, not tax advice. Have your accountant review before filing. Terms of Sale

Quick tour (1:23): Setup → Expense Log → Mileage → Dashboard → T2125 Summary

What's inside

One tab for each part of your year. Type in the green cells; everything else adds itself up.

Expense Log

Pick from 24 categories, including materials and subcontractors for trades; the T2125 line and deductible amount fill in. Room for 2,000 entries.

Income Log

Sales and other income kept apart, plus the GST/HST you collected, the way T2125 wants them.

Mileage + Vehicle

Log trips and odometer readings; your business-use % flows into the vehicle claim.

Home Office

Your share of rent or mortgage interest, utilities and insurance, with the loss limit and carry-forward handled.

Dashboard

Totals by T2125 line, a monthly chart, GST/HST by quarter, and traffic-light checks that flag missing dates or categories.

T2125 Summary

Every line number with its total, ready to take to your accountant or tax software.

It handles the fiddly rules

Meals at 50%Applied automatically on line 8523.
GST/HST registered or notRegistered: tax is tracked as input tax credits. Not registered: it's added to your deduction.
Partly-business costsSet a business-use % for things like your phone.
2026 vehicle limitsLease limits (including the list-price test) and the loan-interest cap, from the 2026 federal figures.
Cost of goods for tradesJob materials and subcontractors go to line 8518, not your expenses.
Hard to breakFormula cells are locked so you don't overwrite them by accident. You type only in the green cells.

Green cells are yours to type in. Grey cells fill themselves: note the client lunch deducts $40 of $80, and the phone 70% of $90.

Questions

Google Sheets or Excel?

Both. You get a one-click copy for Google Sheets and an .xlsx file for Excel.

Is this tax advice?

No. It's a tool for keeping your records organized. Have your accountant review your numbers before you file.

I already use Monby. Do I need to buy it?

No. Beta users get it free, and can fill it with every receipt they've sent Monby in one click.

Does it work in Quebec?

Not yet. It covers the federal T2125 and GST/HST. If you're in Quebec, you also file with Revenu Québec (QST and form TP-80), and the template doesn't handle those.
